Today was a great day—got moved to a very nice room that has a shower, got more mobility and was able to walk, went almost all day without oxygen tube. Had a very nice visit with my good friend Grace Hyde. Nothing brings the spirits up in the hospital like a visit from a good friend.
We had a large group of people come to my room this morning—Doctor B brought a group of new Fellows to my room to tell them about my case.
Last week I got hooked up to and Ultra Filtration dialysis machine for 48 hours that removed 18 liters of fluid from my blood and tissue. Now I feel like I can breathe and move, and my legs are no longer tree trunks.
